New Addition

Here is Jodi's new addition! Isn't he adorable? He was born Wednesday morning, weighed 8lbs. 13 oz. His name is Aiden Michael. I talked to Jodi this weekend and she sounds great!

Apple Picking Weekend

So I went to Toledo this weekend to go apple picking with my friends. We had a good time. Lots of apples and junk food so everyone was happy and had stomach aches. Here are the pics:

It wasn't the same without all the family there, but I was thinking of all of you!

Saturday night I went out with Wy and her friend Erica, Sunday I went to see Ellie's soccer game and then hung out with Wy and Sara for a little while, then came home. Fun weekend :)

I Am A Dumbass

So I went to lunch on Wednesday and ran home as I usually do. I was running late getting back to work after lunch (as usual) and was taking out the trash and getting stuff in my car. So I get back to work and I'm running around the office working. About an hour after lunch, my coworker, Jayme, is talking to me in the back sales room. So I'm in the middle of talking to her and she looks at me and says "Wow, that's a nice new look you've got going on there Jenni". And she's looking down at my feet. So I don't look down, but I think she's talking about my pasty white legs and say "Yea, I need to get to the tanning booth, I'm so white". So now she's pointing at my feet...and I look down...and we start laughing so hard I start crying.



So this morning I get to work and I walk up front and all the girls have on mismatching shoes.

I Am Such A Nerd

So I taught myself (from a book) how to knit a hat this weekend. I've finally moved on from scarves (thank god, I have about 50 now). There is actually an old sock knitting machine, but I've found they are about $450 on ebay, so back to the needles for me. Luckily the pattern I was following just happened to fit my head. Anyways, you can see below the first two hats I ever knitted along with a multitude of scarves from the last few years.



I started on some gloves this morning. Next I'm moving on to socks. Its just that heel part that's screwing me up. After the socks I think I'm going to try a fair isle patterned hat. I found one in a book, but its quite confusing.

I also got this awesome book that teaches you how to knit wire and beads. There are some very cute Christmas ornaments in it.

Anyways, that was about it for the weekend. I did go to a clambake on Saturday night and that was fun. Unfortunately I don't eat seafood, but the company was good :) Sunday I was going to go to an apple festival at an orchard around here, but there were 8 billion people there when I finally fought through the traffic to get there, then there was no parking, so I gave up and went for a drive instead. Besides, my friends and I are going apple picking at Erie Orchards in two weeks! I can't wait!

Busy weekend, not very relaxing!

Well I worked all weekend at the realtor's office. That was fun. It can be slow at times, but its fun now cause its still new.

Saturday night after work I went to the Music Under the Stars at Blossom. The Cleveland Orchestra was playing Rodgers and Hammerstein's stuff from Carousel, State Fair, Sound of Music, and Oklahoma. It was really good. But, they did play that damn Do Re Mi song twice and it makes me want to scratch my eyes out. That song reminds me of my aunt Kathleen and camping for some reason. I guess she used to sing it on the drive up or something. Anyways, I'd love to go next summer if they do a Disney one!

Wy moved into her new apartment this weekend. They have no electricity until today some time. She said she had to do her makeup on the balcony last night cause she couldn't see anything. She seems to really like the new place. They said it has high ceilings and its in a nice area. They're excited about it. I can't wait to see it.

Anyways, that was about it for this weekend. I just relaxed and knit and cleaned yesterday. I felt like I was being lazy, but hey, I only had one day off!
